Taking a leisurely walk from Ischgl to the villages of Galtür, See or Kappl will send you on a journey through time discovering the local myths and legends in this Tyrolean valley. Hiking towards the peaks, tramping alongside glacial paths will reward you with captivating views from the summit – plus there’s plenty of opportunity to re-fuel at one of the 18 mountain huts along the way. Head out of an international adventure and follow the ancient smuggler’s trail across the border into Switzerland to pick up a Swiss souvenir in the chocolate box style village of Samnaun.

- Nordic Walking: Venturing along the Nordic walking trails along the Paznaun Valley floor, or high in the hills beyond - tours for all abilities are offered by the Tourist Office
- Forest trek: Exploring the woodland trails in Kappl, where you’ll discover wild mushrooms, forest fruits and wildlife around every corner. Emerge from the forest and find yourself surrounded by romantic scenery of the Paznaun Valley.
- Moonlit trail: The mountains under moonlight – waiting to be discovered on an evening lantern hike guided by the Tourist Office in the nearby village of See. Any ability of walker is bound to enjoy this unforgettable experience.
