So what's it like?
The breathtaking Kitzbüheler Alps and Wilder Kaiser mountains dominate the area and a trip on the Hahnenkamm or Kitzbüheler Horn cable cars is particularly recommended (the Hahnenkamm cable car also runs one evening per week). The area offers fantastic walking and you can join in escorted walks with our walking escort. The nearby Schwarzsee lake is also a 'must' for the visitor. There are weekly brass band concerts, occasional folk concerts, and several lively keller bars to choose from or try your luck at the casino!
Relax and discover
Local culture: You can travel through Kitzbühel's history in the local museum, or just take in the medieval architecture with a stroll around town. At the same time soak up the elegance of this charming centre - window shopping, enjoying 'kaffee und kuchen' or trotting through the cobbled streets in a horse drawn carriage.
Walking: Kitzbühel is a true walkers paradise with over 1000km of well-marked hiking trails ranging from the energetic climb to the top of the Kitzbühler horn to the more gentle amble to the Schwarzsee lake. Adventure sports: It's no wonder Kitzbühel is a haven for sports fanatics with its varied terrain. With activities ranging from white water rafting, canyoning to tandem paragliding and mountain biking there is always something to get the adrenaline pumping! Evening atmosphere: There is a massive selection of bars and restaurants from trendy wine and cocktail bars to casual bars and traditional restaurants. Relax with a coffee in one of the many street cafés watch the bustle of different people, the vibrant nightlife in Kitzbühel has something for all!Private Transfers

Twin centre suggestion
Why not try a twin centre combining 7 days in Kitzbühel in the mountains with a stay in the lovely lake resort of St. Wolfgang. Close to the Czech border you could also add on a Cesky Krumlov excursion and see the inspiration for Pinocchio's home town.
