So what's it like?
The Chalet Haus Tirol benefits from one of the best locations in Mayrhofen - in the centre of resort and only a short walk to the main Penken Gondola, taking you up into the stunning and vast Ziller Valley. Run by our British staff and offering simple yet homely accommodation, the Haus Tirol offers excellent value for money and gives you the opportunity to sample many of the resort's restaurants in the evenings.
Discovery Package
The 'Mayrhofen Discovery' package is a superb way to explore what Mayrhofen and the surrounding area has to offer. You will stay at the Chalet Haus Tirol, located in the centre of this scenic Tirolean village and have the benefit of 3 excursions and 2 evening activities included in the package. The village has a vibrant atmosphere with pavement cafés and rustic bars, during the summer months there are festivals and brass band concerts for you to enjoy in line with local tradition.

Excursion highlights
Innsbruck: Capital of the Tirol surrounded by towering mountains - making for a unique and imposing city setting. Rich in history, don't miss visits to the famous Golden Roof and the stunning St. Jacob's Cathedral. Optional city tour on foot (approx. €7).
Krimml Waterfalls & Kitzbühel: At the foot of the Gerlos Pass, these waterfalls are the highest in Europe. Enjoy a walk up the footpath beside the falls to the top where the best views can be seen. On the way back stop at the 700 year old medieval town of Kitzbühel - enjoy the ambience and pastel coloured buildings in the centre. Waterfalls entrance fee (approx. €2).
Rattenberg & Achensee: A local tour to one of Europe's best preserved medieval towns - famous for its glass making. Afterwards move onto Lake Achen, the largest Alpine lake in the Tirol with beautiful clear waters. Optional boat trip on the lake (approx. €15).

Rooms
for 2 people on chalet board sharing a room with Austrian twin beds and sole use of shower and WC located in the corridor (room 10). Small room with a double bed (140cm wide) en suite shower and WC is also available. Austrian twin rooms, quad rooms sleeping up to 4 people consisting of one room with an Austrian twin 2 single beds and single rooms with en suite shower and WC are available at a supplement.
