The Seefeld Olympia Region is one of the most beautiful walking areas in the Alps, boasting 650 kms of cleared and maintained walking trails and an abundance of opportunities for all levels of walking. The Tourist Information Offices in Seefeld and the surrounding area run an excellent weekly walking programme, from gentle strolls and cultural walks to more demanding routes over the Wildmoos plateau, through the Karwendel Gorge, or over the area's highest peaks. All walks in this superb programme are led by a qualified mountain guide and cost from approx. £8 per person per day. Full details of the extensive programme and how to register for the walks, are available from the Seefeld Tourist Information Office.

If you do intend to join some of these walks please make sure you bring comfortable walking boots with ankle support, waterproof clothing, a day rucksack and water bottle.
