  • So what's it like?

    Walking

Walchsee sits with Kössen and Schwendtin in the stunning Kaiserwinkl region. The area offers approx. 200km of hiking paths varying from easy hikes to strenuous tours at high elevations. Climb into the dense forest towards two pretty chapels where the only sound is the babbling of the nearby stream. Head up the 4-seater chairlift to start of many hiking trails. Follow the steady climb up to the steep slopes of the Zahmer Kaiser mountain range. You will be rewarded with some truly outstand views as Walchsee falls away behind you and the Wilder Kaiser range appears ahead.
