So what's it like?
This is a hotel for those who want the facilities of a bustling village whilst staying in a quiet area and enjoying this wonderful countryside - whether you want to do some walking or simply relax. The village centre is only a short walk away down a gentle footpath, but the hotel appears to be totally separate from the village, allowing you to enjoy the views in peace. The Maierschwendt is a family-run hotel, which gives the personal touch and a focus on attention to detail. The family are particularly considerate to health and well being - offering healthy options at meals, their own mineral water (source in house) and even some rooms that are designed for those with allergies.
