Day 1 Wednesday - Venice, Italy
Transfer to the world famous city of Venice for 2 nights at the Monaco & Grand Hotel.
Day 2 Thursday - Venice, Italy
Today you have a day to explore and see the sights of this floating city. Don't miss the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square.
Day 3 Friday - Venice, Italy
Enjoy a morning strolling around the city before your transfer to Venice docks to board the MSC Armonia for embarcation at 7.00pm.
Day 4 Saturday - Ancona, Italy
Arrive 7.00am and depart 1.00pm
Ancona is the provincial capital of the Le Marche region of Italy. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the town was successively attacked by the Goths, Lombards and Saracens but recovered its strength and importance. Today it is a bustling market town dotted with historical sights.
Day 5 Sunday - Corfu, Greece
Arrive 12.30pm and depart 5.30pm
Known as the Emerald Isle, Corfu has many facets, from hillsides covered in olive trees, orange groves and pretty villages. The island has been written about by a number of illustrious writers and poets, drawn here by the island's spectacular natural beauty.
Day 6 Monday - Santorini, Greece
Arrive 3.30pm and depart 10.00pm
Santorini is a beautiful volcanic island, part of the Cyclades islands. The approach of the cruise ship tracks along its dramatic coastline and once ashore you will discover a Greek paradise with whitewashed buildings, domed churches, blooming flowers and azure seas, as well as the famous Santorini goldsmiths renowned for their gold jewellery. At Santorini the ship moors offshore and a small boat will take you ashore to Athinios Port to join the excursions.
Day 7 Tuesday - Piraeus & Athens, Greece
Arrive 7.30am and depart 2.30pm
Today the ship docks at the port of Piraeus, with its scattering of harbour side restaurants offering delicious seafood. From here most will choose to visit Athens, the historical cradle of civilisation.
Day 8 Wednesday - Argostoli, Kefalonia
Arrive 9.00am and depart 2.00pm
The island of Kefalonia recently gained popularity after the film and novel "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" was set on its shores. This city of Argostili has become the largest in the Ionian Islands.
Day 9 Thursday - Kotor, Montenegro
Arrive 7.00am and depart 1.00pm
Kotor is an old Mediterranean port characteristically surrounded by well-preserved stonewalls and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Within the city walls visitors can take a walk through 6th century churches and stunning piazzas - this Italian influence dates from when Venice had control of Kotor between 1420 and 1797.
Day 10 Friday - Venice & Sirmione, Italy
Arrive 10.00am
Those who chose the 10 night package will spend a further night in the Monaco & Grand Hotel, Venice before departing on the Saturday. Those who chose the 14 night package including Lake Garda will transfer to the Hotel Du Parc, Sirmione for 5 nights before departing on the Wednesday.
