The popular neighbouring resorts of Cadenabbia, Tremezzo and Menaggio lie together on the sunny western shore of Lake Como, with superb views across the lake to Bellagio. Delightful Bellagio has enchanting narrow cobbled streets winding up to the hills behind the village. Guests staying in Bellagio usually take a ferry for transfers (no porterage).
Relax and discover
Local culture
Evening atmosphere
One of Italy’s most prestigious and romantic lakes, Lake Como is a place for relaxation and indulgence. Beautiful turquoise waters are surrounded by traditional Venetian villas and attractive lakeside villages. Sip a macchiato outside one of the many cafes and dream of owning one of the villas in the distance. The Gardens of Villa Carlotta are not to be missed. And for the film buff, you can visit the 16th century Villa Balbianello, used as Mr White’s hideaway in Casino Royale. For the adrenalin junkies maybe a high speed boat trip on the lake is more your thing, or how about paragliding from the top of the mountain?
Get to know the locals in one of the bars in Cadenabbia or head along to cosmopolitan Menaggio and devour a 4 course meal overlooking the pretty piazza. To find the buzz, catch the ferry across to Bellagio where you can wander into the endless artisan shops before settling down in one of George Clooney’s favourite watering holes for a well earned Spritz.
