Local culture
Torbole has a classic little church and traditional buildings but in truth local culture revolves around the water. As the sailing mecca, Toroble has regular Regattas filling its corner of the lake with a blaze of coloured sails. Windsurfers in the tame morning wind doing more swimming than sailing as they get to grips with this fantastic sport. As the wind picks up in the afternoon watch the experts in ore like acrobats on the water.
Adventure sports
With a windsurf and bike package, a dinghy and bike package and a kayak and bike package we have adventure sports covered. The northern shores of Lake Garda are world famous for watersports as they benefit from near perfect winds, whilst one needs only glance at the mountains surrounding Torbole to see the potential for 2 wheeled adventures. For the less extreme amongst you head to the village of Arco, it is reached on an easy cycle path from Torbole and is a picturesque hidden gem.
Evening atmosphere
Life revolves around the lake and watersports, it is thus not a surprise that the most popular bar in Torbole is called Winds, head here to hang out with trendy locals. For those who just want a quiet drink or ice cream don't fear, there are plenty of choices for everyone.Getting about
Explore the lake by ferry from the harbour in Torbole. Alternatively there is a good local bus service around the lake and cycle lanes make exploring by bike a highlight too.
