So what's it like?
Home to the World Economic Forum Davos has become a famous Swiss alpine town. It is surrounded by 5 mountain peaks all harbouring idyllic mountain walks through lush meadows; if you are lucky you may also see an Ibex a kind of mountain goat with distinctive horns. As well as the pearlescent lake in Davos there are plenty of activities available to note windsurfing and sailing on the lake, a summer toboggan run, ice skating, pony trekking, an alpine zoo and a mini golf course. In Davos you will receive a Davos inclusive card which will entitle you to a vast array of FREE and reduced price activities. Davos has an excellent transport system and offers a FREE Davos Inclusive Card for people staying overnight in Davos. There is a regional train service to and from Filisur, from there most other towns in the region are easily accessible. There is a local bus service also FREE with the Davos Inclusive card that transports guests around the resort and up to Klosters. The mountain railways and cable cars also add towards the efficient FREE transport system around the area.

Located on a sunny platte just above Davos the the Schatzalp Botanical Gardens has a wide range of flora. The species originate from various corners of the world, including New Zealand, China, Tibet and European mountainous areas. There is also a good selection of medicinal plants on display. These gardens can be visited for FREE using your Davos Inclusive Card. -
