So what's it like?
The Continental Parkhotel is a delightful, family run hotel set in its own grounds just above the centre of Lugano which is easily reached by the funicular lift just a short walk from the hotel. Surrounded by vineyards and gardens with subtropical plants the hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool and a rustic garden terrace restaurant built in typical Ticino style. Each week there is live music and evening entertainment and a special meal taken in the Ronco Dei Bianchi terrace restaurant where you also have the opportunity to taste the wine from the local vineyard.
