    Excursion highlights

    Schilthorn: As well as the James bond museum the view from the summit (2971m) will be a life long memory. The view takes you over the plunging Lauterbrunnen valley over to the dizzy heights of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

    Allmendhubel: Above the village of Murren is a pretty alpine meadow. Take the funicular up to Allmendhubel, enjoy your packed lunch and possibly a drink in the mountain restaurant before taking one of the well marked trails back down Murren.

    Lake Cruise: At the bottom of the Lauterbrunnen Valley sits the town of Interlaken. Lake Thun has a number of pretty towns on its shores, including the medieval town of Thun. As you chug around the lake new photo opportunities will keep on appearing, so make sure your camera's battery is fully charged.

    Please note: All the excursions are independent, you will be provided with all the necessary tickets and excursion information on arrival at your hotel. You will be provided with a Swiss Half Fare Card (included on your train transfer ticket), this can be used to get a reduction on trains and boat on days when an excursion is not included.
